Split it your way
Every expense has its own split; in a group it starts from the group's.
Equally, by parts, by percentages or by amounts
€30.00 between three people is €10.00 each. Whoever has the double room pays two parts.
By receipt lines
At the supermarket the groceries are for everyone, the shampoo is just for you.
When two people paid
More than one person can pay, each with their own amount.
In another currency
Record the expense in the local currency: Allotti converts it into the group's currency at the day's exchange rate.
Refunds and returns
If the shop gives part of it back, you record the refund on the expense and everyone's shares update by themselves.
With a photo of the receipt
Attach it to the expense; only people who can see the whole expense can see it.
Settling up
Settle up
Record a payment you received or made and the balance is cleared. You make the payment yourselves: Allotti doesn't move money.
Write off
A small amount? If someone owes you money you can let it go, in full or in part.
Simplify balances
In groups of three or more, balances are cleared with fewer payments.
Activity
See what changes in your groups: a new expense, an edit, a payment. You choose which alerts you get.

Questions about shared expenses
Do I have to convince everyone to download it?
No. Add anyone you like: they get an invitation with a link or a QR code and can join whenever they want. Meanwhile you can already split an expense with people who don't have the app yet.
What if I pay for everyone?
Note who paid and who it's split between: Allotti works out who owes whom how much. When they pay you back, one tap and the balance is cleared.
Can I split with only some people in the group?
Yes: for each expense you choose who it's split between.
Does it work offline?
Yes: the expense is saved anyway and goes through when you're back online.
