How it works
One account for each way of paying
Current account, credit card, digital wallet, cash, meal vouchers, mortgage and loan: pick the type and any name you like, such as "Household account".
A debit card is not an account
If you pay with your debit card, pick your current account. With Apple Wallet or Google Pay, pick the card behind it.
Moving money is not spending
If you move money from one of your accounts to another, it is not an expense and it does not count in your spending totals.
The balance of each account
The balance is the starting balance plus the entries you recorded.
Questions about accounts
How do entries get in?
You write them yourself, like any other expense.
Who can see my accounts?
Only the person who paid can see the account used for an expense.
Do I have to use accounts to split expenses?
No. If you do not pick an account, the expense stays valid and everything else works as usual.
