Invites
[to review] To add someone who doesn't use Allotti yet to a group or an expense, you invite them yourself, whichever way you prefer. We never write to people who don't use the app.
How to invite
In the group, among the people, enter the email or phone number of whoever you want to invite. Or tap Send a link or QR code and enter their name: this creates a link for that person only, which you send however you like or let them scan. Outside a group use the person icon at the top right of Home.
The link for several people
There is also a link open to several people: Link and QR in the group, or Share a link and Show QR code from Home. Whoever opens it becomes your contact and joins the group, if there is one.
What happens to whoever gets the invite
They open the link on their phone, install the app, sign in with their email and find the group and expenses they are in. You also become contacts.
How long it lasts
The link for one person and the link open to several people, with its QR, last 10 days and can be turned off earlier. If the link for a person invited by name only expires, they disappear from the group and you get a notice with Resend link, which gives another 10 days.
Until they sign up, a person invited by name only stays "pending" and can't be added to expenses. With an email or phone number you can add them straight away.
